I returned this for two reasons; first, though advertised as "new" it arrived with rubs and scuffing and some kind of spotting from a liquid spilled on it. Apparently it had been used and returned, then reshipped to me as a new product. Secondly, the motor for this and the identical (except for the color) Kawasaki 840271 Green 6.6 Amp Hammer Drill model on Amazon is stated as being 800 watts but was actually only a 500 watt motor when I was able to examine it. Because it appeared used and I knew I was going to return it I never plugged it in and cannot comment about its effectiveness or reliability. I have since found a similar spec Power Glide brand at Ace Hardware for 29 dollars.
