My first review of many products purchased. I always read reviews before buying, but this didn't have any worth reading.
The good: Plasma cuts as advertised. I cut a 5/16" mild steel I beam. It was slow, but it worked. Thinner mild steel (20 guage to 1/8" thick) like butter! The arc welder is far superior to the one I have from that Harbor place. Strike, arc, weld. The TIG welder had the same good experience. No need to strike, the arc starts from about 3/8" from the work.
The bad: The instructions didn't even perform as toilet paper. Totally useless! The pressure regulator didn't fit the argon bottle. It was useless. The hoses and clamps didn't fit anything and the clamps broke with minor pressure. My best advise would be to discard the regulator, hoses and clamps and buy new.
I set up the compressed air and inert gas with separate valves so I don't have to remove and replace hoses every time I change from cutting to welding. This saves time for a...
