No Longer So (Very) Disappointed
Just received my Shop-Vac 5866100 8-Gallon 5.5-Peak HP Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Vacuum the other day. I was surprised when it arrived packaged only in the original showroom sales carton with no packing protection at all. Turned out, this was not really a problem, as it did arrive undamaged. I also bought at the same time the mini 2.5 peak HP vacuum. The small one arrived in a properly packed carton with padding. Also, the smaller one included more and better attachments than the larger one. Interesting, but no biggie.
The real kicker is that I can't notice any suction difference between the two units even though the larger one is rated 3 HP higher. Not happy with the suction of the larger unit. The problem is that it comes with a narrow 1.25 hose, nozzel and wands which are constantly jamming due mostly to the weak...
