I use this torch almost every day. I usually use this torch for soldering copper pipe although it will braze smaller sizes also as long as you use MAPP gas. (Which is all I use.) I have brazed 3/4" copper without trouble but it takes a minute or two to get the pipe to temperature. 1/2" is no problem.
