This grinder approaches the performance of much more expensive Metabo grinders at about half the cost. 11000 RPM. 9.0 Amps. Vibration absorbing handle. Spindle lock. The guard can be rotated without the use of tools. The paddle switch is a great safety feature. If your hand slips off the tool, the motor stops quickly. This is a powerful tool and definitely not your typical entry level grinder. I first stumbled across this tool at a Menards in the midwest. Had not previously considered getting a Bosch grinder, as only their very high end grinders ($$$) are made in Germany, and the entry level units at the box stores are all chinese made.
