In the past I've owned a few of the 18v Firestorm Drill/Drivers and they where great for everything from my woodshop to medium heavy work in building and home repairs, but for a GP around the house drill/driver this is a very good option. I doubt anyone will expect a 12v Drill/Driver to compare to a higher voltage drill say 14v - 20v tools, but for small household projects this is all I'll be needing and would recommend this drill/driver to anyone looking to use for the same.
Over all it holds a good charge while performing doing projects, and when it's put up with a charge it seems to hold it very well. The chuck has been fine and I haven't had any issues with it or the other black & Decker tools I've owned. I would not recommend this as a professionals tool, but for the price it delivers very well used in the proper environment (around the house projects).
