Great machine
I just purchased this machine used and wow what a machine! It is hefty and hard to move around so where you put it plan on it not moving.
To get this machine into my shop I took the entire top apart and moved it in pieces due to the weight.
Reassembly was a snap and I have used it many times already. The belt replacements is the easiest I have seen.
I have this tied into a 30 amp 220 circuit and have not had the amp gauge above 25 yet. I prefer to make a few extra passes than try to do it all at once. The time this saves sanding glue up panels is amazing. As above you can change the belts in a minute or less. The platen versus drum surface sanding is a great option. You can remove a decent amount and then back off on the higher grits to get a smooth surface that you don't have to do anything else to.
