My sander arrived in just a few days after ordering. It came in a surprisingly small box given the overall size of the equipment.

Assembly was simple, but as stated in another review, the top is very heavy.

After assembly I noticed that the spindle sander table was askew. It appeared that the top had been hit hard which bent the metal brackets over to one side. The box showed no signs of damage, so I can only assume it was packaged this way.

At this point, I had cut the box and Styrofoam inserts into pieces to lift the top out. With the unit already assembled I decide to straighten the problem myself. I removed the table and bent the brackets back to center. This worked out fine and in the end the table was perpendicular to the spindle in all directions.

I can't knock Grizzly for their customer support since I didn't bother to call them about the problem. I'm sure that they would have replaced the unit, but I'd rather not deal with...
