I purchased this dust collector to be used with my Dewalt 735 planer and a Jet jointer and my future table saw. I was a little hesistant because of the price being so cheap. I saw similar machines like Powermatic and Delta selling for about $1200-1400. i read the 1 review that was posted about it and decided to give it a try. The review i read said the impeller on the motor was made out of plastic and i was concerned about that. I received the dust collector about a week before i was told would get it. It took about an hour and a half to assemble it and the impeller is metal. The directions for assembly are hard to read and all they are pictures you kinda have to figure it out on your own. The manufacture should rewrite the assembly instructions. I planed about 300 board feet of hickory this weekend for a bed i am building for a friend and the dust collector works great. I figure if i get 3-4 years out of it it has paid for itself. It is no noisier than the dust collectors at work...
