Powerful saw that is very versatile
I've been using Panasonic's 14.4v Li-Ion line for 3 years now and I love all their tools!! This Multi Purpose is no different. I am a professional garage door installer for a living and work with metal a lot. Using the included metal blade this saw performs remarkably well cutting through track, sections, chain, 1x1 angle and 2x2 angle, even 1" solid shaft!! Don't let the 14.4v scare you away as Panasonic's 14.4v Li-Ion line is stronger than most 18v lines other tool providers make. I can just as easily switch to a thin fine tooth metal blade and cut siding, pole barn steel, j channel and aluminum cleanly and quickly. I also can switch to a wood blade and it still cuts just as nicely. I've had this saw for a year now and I put it through good use EVERY day. It is still just as strong. It has an led light on it which is nice when cutting in a dark or shadowy garage. My ONLY complaint about it is that the blade does not bevel to the side so I can cut 45 degree angles when putting trim...
