A very poor choice
My ownership of the Proxxon 37090 is a perfect example of the old addage "haste makes waste". In my anxiety to replace my old scroll saw, I did purchase the Proxxon, had it shipped to me and I immediately began the setup. I should have put it back in the box and returned it then and there. I found the work table to be simply too small to be useful. Had to make a skirt to put around the thing. Then I found that the pin end blades that came with it are really difficult to replace. The plain end blades I use are extremly difficult to install. The blades must be threaded through a plastic piece of crap to get it installed in the lower slot. The table must be tilted 45 degrees to do that. Then the table must again be leveled. I had to cut a slot in that plastic thing to install it after the blad was affixed to the lower slot. The dust blower quit after about ten minutes of use and I can not get it to work again. The work protection thing is useless and must be simply discarded...
